The best decks are always what the top players are using. To be at the top, you have to be able to play with a variety of decks, whichever best suits the meta at the time. Most to players aren't necessarily tied down to one deck, though they might prefer/be better at one.

That's like being careless and getting burnt from fire, then saying "Oh fire must be bad". If you use it correctly, it benefits you. Just like if you play xbow well, you can dominate. This goes for many good meta decks.
