Interesting! There have been several movies/documentaries about the enigma machines and breaking the codes.
Consider posting future topics in existing Forums. For example, our Western movies thread could easily be included in Goodreads, Etc. - Westerns (note the "etc.") This enigma post would be great in the catch-all topic, An Unbelievably Wide Variety of Topics ...
I tried to include a variety of topics, initially, as I noticed some other clubs' "Forums" becoming cluttered with posts that could logically be grouped together and benefit from that. This obsession for "classification" probably comes from my background in Library Science (and interest in other sciences).
I don't think the change in my piggy bank will cover this - it is a piece of history though,
