Osila vannessa for me though. I am on yellow/green more than blue/red. ("Osila Vannessa" is in Fuchannicaine, so you might not understand it.)
Your best friend, backstabber and worst enemy

Translation in spanish, recently available: https://www.chess.com/es/blog/MoreMao/mejor-amigo-apunalador-y-peor-enemigo?ncc=2#first_new_comment

I imagine attacking the backstabber is best. Since you can respond to his moves directly while he can not it should be easier for you and harder for him. Just make sure you are solid against your worst enemy. If your worst enemy wants to take a risk against you, like making a move he does not want you to respond he would need to predict both the backstabber move and your response, so hopefully that will be hard for him.
In Teams, The Backstabber is the one on the left and your Worst Enemy is on the right.

This game is a new invention from chess.com. There have been other three- and four-player variants, but not with this precise set of rules.
3 player variants? Can I see one?

https://glyphobet.net/three-player-chess/ covers several variations

How can I predict how my enemies will be able to move? It seems to me that only playing 5 games and having this recommended for me by my dad seems challenging. Are there still basic arithmetics of the game?

You should learn some Teams theory so you can "co-operate" with your opposite, and then you'll be able to predict their moves.
If in teams, Your "best friend" is really your friend and you NEED him to help take out your "worst enemy" whereas you take out your "backstabber" who is HIS "Worst enemy"!That is important adapting, eh?

Sorry for necro-ing but if your opposite is about to get mated anyway, should you checkmate your opposite for the +20 and to avoid your either side from getting the points?

The answer is yes if he played badly, didn't find any good moves to cooperate with you, didn't stop side players from promoting. If your opposite attacked one of the side players, even sacrificed his pieces, then you should do the same and at least stop one of the attackers. This type play starts around 2300 level. Usually your opposite doesn't end up being in that situation if you both play well (and if you're also not passive) and this usually happens (that one of you is getting mated) when you're blue green.

So what I'm talking about is that my sides are rated ~2000 and my opp is like 1500, I sacrificed a knight trying to make my sides fight eachother, but they are very close to checkmating my opp in 1-2 moves and I can do the finishing blow, should I checkmate my opp? If I don't then he will get checkmated anyway and one of my sides will get the +20

If your opp is 1500 you should not sacrifice your pieces, you should try to defend and play passive, try to make them attack your opp instead and just make sure that YOU are not getting mated. I mean sure, you can attack your opp if you think that he's useless. I usually don't do that and let my opposite sacrifice all his pieces to side players, sometimes my opp even gives a check, that's useful for me to launch the attack on my left side (he checked a player on his right/my left) So, if he's getting mated in 1 move by your left on 1 exact square, before mating your opp yourself, you can think about covering that square where the checkmate is threatened, with the rook or 1 point queen so that you can take his 9 point queen let's say. The other option is to threaten to take the pawn or a knight for a player on your left that's about to checkmate your opp, open the bishop diagonal, try to trap his rook get the 5 points extra in the exchange of checkmate on your opp. The last option is checkmating your opp yourself, trying to steal the checkmate

And now look at this

Spoiler alert: I got like 30 rating

It's because your Glicko RD (rating deviation) is too high. You can check that by clicking on your username a pop-up will occur. It should start to get normalized when it reaches a number below 70 (60ish) or 65. But biggest problem is that you only played 15 games so you'll either win a lot of points or lot of points. It will change after you play more and more
I agree with NelsonMoore ( in FFA ). These chats will mount a "campaign" to do what he said. The only problem is that the first move (typically) would be a discovered check. That means yellow and green would have a bigger advantage. I hope MartinO.
