use the little chess board in the comments window, see it beside the little tree?
your game with 1.c4

If you don't want to post a game, you could just give us a link to one of your games, however, that won't be as good because it won't have your commentary.

After being beaten as black to a cheap opening trap by the same player, I was determined to enact some revenge, and the following game ensued.

Hello,
I am learning my way around 1.c4. I took a draw in this game because I didn't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks. That's a theme in my losses which I am trying to address- I make 20 good moves and then I fail to see the attacking possibilities on either side.

I remember reading a Jeremey silman article in which he stated that when you have a central dominance like this, you simply try to make your centre bullet proof. what about bringing your rooks into the game? Imagine a rook on e1 and a rook on d1? those two central pawns are gonna be awesome. Also you had a half open c file, get a rook on there, an outpost at c5, an awesome post for a knight.

That makes good sense. I asked a computer and it told me that on move 16 dxe5 was stronger than the queen move. Also that from here my best option was Rad1 Qh3, Bg5 Bxe4, then trade queens which leaves me with the bishop pair but down one pawn and the f-pawns doubled. So I'm content with the outcome but I should have been more proactive dealing with that kamikaze e-pawn.

during the last day, i have been on a blitzathon, i must have lost easily, 200+ games, why I play chess i have no idea, i should take up some hobby that i can at least do well and which doesn't drive one insane.

hi bishopscannons, i want to discover the secrets of blitz, clearly if you have no time to calculate deeply, then there must be some other method that people employ.
