my friend was so confident that he could do the two bishop mate that when it was king and 2 pawns vs king against another guy he promoted both to bishops. he only realized later that both his bishops had promoted on squares of the same color

happens bro not to me tho. i sometimes lose my connection when i have a good position but not more than that. i have only lost about 3-4 games coz of connection
Well , Mine is something very different . I was having a match with my opponent in a local tournament , he was in winning position , I pushed the bench with my leg my mistake and all the pieces fell . The arbiter came and asked what happened,my finger was pointing him and his finger was pointing me . So he told we will have a 2 minutes match , guess what ? I won (Party emoji )
The worst case scenario is that this happening is much more frequent while playing against lower rated players therefore, losing a lot more rating.
