I would like to start by thanking the people who have helped me the most in chess and more importantly in life: I would like to thank God, who has shown me how to use chess for more than just myself (Colossians 3:17). Thank you for leading me to where I am today. I would also like to thank my family. You have been more than patient with me, even when I was not patient with myself. I would not be able to do this without you.

I have been playing chess for two years now, and I would also like to thank all the chess content creators who have helped me achieve the rating I have now: First and most importantly, GothamChess (IM Levy Rozman), who was the first creator I watched and who made chess fun, entertaining, and possible. Second, to Remote Chess Academy (GM Igor Smirnov) who’s videos taught me the basics of attacking chess. I would also like to thank GM Hikaru, BotezLive and WFM Anna Cramling, all of whom have made the game fun and easier to understand.

Lastly, I would like to thank my friends GuardedMice, GregoryTheGreatQexd5, and HaloPenguin300. I have identified them by chess.com username for privacy reasons, but without their constant patience and advice at school or online, I would never have began my chess journey nor would it have led to where I am now.
