Hi! I’m Marc, a National Master and an active chess coach with experience training young players and competitive students. I’ve been playing chess for many years and have represented in national-level events, which shaped both my competitive mindset and my approach to teaching.

As a coach, I focus on building strong fundamentals, practical thinking, and confidence over the board. I’ve worked with beginners, intermediate players, and motivated students aiming for serious improvement, especially in rapid and classical formats. My sessions are structured but flexible, adapting to each student’s goals, strengths, and learning style.

I believe chess improvement comes from understanding ideas, not just memorizing moves, and I aim to make every lesson both educational and enjoyable.
