Hello! My name is Michael Song, and I am a IM (FIDE 2421) from Toronto, Canada. I have over 7 years' experience working with students ranging from 1400-2200 in rating, including coaching the Canadian Youth team (helping one student place in the Top 10). I previously authored a book about attacking play called "The Chess Attacker's Handbook" https://www.amazon.com/Chess-Attackers-Handbook-Michael-Song/dp/1911465163. For my playing accomplishments, I was a former World Youth bronze medallist, and a Gold medallist at the North American Youth and Pan-American Youth Chess Championships.
