I have been playing chess since the age of 8 because I wanted to get involved in the games family around me played. In the mid 80s electronic chess boards triggered my imagination. Having played chess for a number of years, I decided to test my skills further by playing in tournaments for a central chess club in Athens, where I progressed and almost played in the club competition finals (as a club team substitute). I have always considered chess to be an excellent mental exercise, helping to develop the logical and structured thinking process.

During the last 12 years, platform has helped me a lot to improve my game skills by actively studying openings and analysing the games I have been playing against a variety of opponents.
