Chess 024: Opening Repertoire for 1500-1800 Players Part 1, Black vs. 1.e4 is Chess.com University's fourth course in popular "class format" and the first course aimed at 1500-1800 ELO players. This course covers opening material that players rated between 1500 and 1800 must know when playing against 1.e4. In addition to teaching a "dragonish" Sicilian repertoire vs. 1.e4, the course will also help students improve their opening skills in general. Other topics covered in class include use of chess software and resources such as databases and engines to learn more about openings. In the process of achieving this, students will get an opportunity to improve their ability to think, plan, calculate, research openings and create opening repertoires. Only those who are registered for Chess 024 may join this group.
