The pandemic brought me here after a challenge from a friend on Redhotpawn ... 15 months later , & after 35+ yrs of not playing !!! , TheRandomHedgehog tumbled down the rabbithole to a wonderland ... a myriad of swirling layers of possibility that caress this chequered landscape & whisper to us gently .. sometimes we hear .

Due to medical reasons that make covid fatal for me I was shielding for 15 months & have spent it diving deeper into this game . . due to age & medication I cannot think quick enough for bullet & blitz & end up panicking as time ticks away . rapid i'm kinda improving a bit . Correspondence gives me time ..chess is all about time & space .. A great game should entertain . Haven't tried variants yet (just like blitz etc they didn't exist in my youth )...OTB was it ..& is .. I'm rambling ... alcohol blunder tilt ... laterz
