Core Values

Respect Empathy Resilience Integrity Ambition

Campus Culture:

A campus culture is created when every single staff member adheres to the highest level of performance and expectations.  A positive campus culture can never be created or maintained without everybody believing and promoting the same values.  Everything we want our school and our students to be must first be modeled by the staff.

Non-negotiables:

  • Treat students with respect and dignity at all times. Be fair.
  • Follow all campus rules, policies, and timelines all the time, without exception.
  • Use and regularly promote the vision and motto of the school.
  • Adhere to the Core Values of Mineola ISD.
  • Hold HIGH EXPECTATIONS for yourselves and for your students. Expect nothing less than the best from your students, and give nothing less in return.
  • Classrooms should be student-centered and not teacher-centered. Students must be engaged in order to learn.
  • Build relationships – know every student by name.
  • Be totally prepared for each class with well-developed lessons that keep students motivated.
  • Have the attitude that “failure is not an option.”

“What you permit in your classroom, you promote.”
