Enter into the knowledge of silence and obscurity

Darkness dampens the eyes like water to a parched mouth

It does not blind with unwanted intensity but refreshes vision anew

Though the one true light strengthens the soul and brings life to the bones

It raises up what was once buried and restores what was once lost
