It usually happens when you blunder - I reckon there's about a thousand cracks there. happy.png

It looks like the rubber material has dried out and that the board has been stored folded. I store my mousepad boards like my vinyl ones; rolled up with the playing surface facing outward and dark (or at least not subjected to direct sunlight).

As for the life span of vinyl boards I have one (my late fathers) that´s at least as old as I am (and I was born ´58). I guess my mousepad boards will outlast me.

...and no, there´s no way to fix it. Hopefully your board is still useable. If it´s fairly new you could try contacting the seller. Take better care of your next one.

I would try rubber cement with some wax paper. Dab rubber cement into all the cracks. Then put wax paper to cover the surface, then roll it up with the squares on the outside (this compresses the cracked bottom side; the wax paper will keep the cement from getting on the top surface, and peels off easily). Let it set for a week to ensure it cures. Then unroll it, peel off the wax paper, and see if this works. Good luck.

I do hope, if the OP tries this that he comes back with a report and pictures.
