Running Chesmaster 10 on Windows 11

Hello everyone. I have searched for the patches for windows 11 to no avail after installing my three Chessmaster 10 disks.

For some background, I've moved from a desktop PC which had windows 10 and ran Chessmaster 10 fine with patches I installed years ago. I think I got them off the Ubisoft site itself. Presently, I cannot find any patches on any Ubisoft site including UBI Connect. I did download all three of the US versions from Wayback machine with no luck. When I click the shortcut icon for the software it comes up and asks "would you like to allow this app to make changes from an unkown publisher...." That message would also pop up on my desktop. I would click "yes" and it would run.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok this is so screwy. I went into my Chessmaster files, clicked one of the .exe files and it loaded up. Great news. I then created a shortcut from what I clicked and it showed up on my desktop with the Chessmaster Icon and underneath "game."

Now when I click that shortcut I get an error message stating "the code execution cannot proceed because Kernel.dll was not found....." I click ok and get the same message listing another file and so on but each file shows in my file structure. Maybe I'll uninstall the disks and reload them.

I downloaded the discs, like everyone else, but they just don't seem to want to open, no matter what...

It works fine, I'm running CM 11 GM, with modded skins, themes and UCI engines with winboard adapter...

To: Chance73, if you ever figure it out (10th edition only), let me know. I got my two disks to load, but they would not run. However, I purchased a new laptop and desktop last year with no DVD; thus, loading is not an option. I also attempted to download from the Internet; it loaded on the previous computer but would not run. I am interested ONLY in one function — the Simul exhibition.

If you're open to a later version, try CM 11 GM, it has better community support for moden Windows. Users report success running it on Win 10/11 using compatibility mode, and it includes updated engines and interfaces. CM 11 GM does have a "Simul Mode" too, that works in LAN mode. Alternatively, Lichess has a fully functional, free "simul" feature. For offline simul play against engines, Fritz/Chessbase has it built-in. Ciao

Fun fact, one of the direct reason of the creation of Camille, was that one member of the team was unable to install Chessmaster 5 years ago and there is (well now it is "was") literally nothing equivalent for the bot creation part. 
If something equivalent was available, Camille would never have been created.

We now have "chessmaster infinity" ! We can use any uci engine ! Prodeo , rodent 4, play any personality !
