Greetings everyone! Round 6 of Nanjing today where a very important game is going on right now for first in the tournament between Bacrot(W) and Magnus(B), who have 3.5 pts and 4 pts respectively. But that is not the game I am posting.

Gashimov(W) vs. Topalov(B) just finished up at 43 moves in the second stage of time control. Both players are looking to get a foothold in this tourney but as long as the bottom three(Wang, Gashimov and Topalov) keep drawing and the top 3 keep winning, there is no chance for these three players to break the top 3. Here is the game:(Remember, all games come through Fritz 12 via playchess.com)

The other two games will be posted upon completion as well as the updated Round 6 standings.

Ok. Game two of the day has just finished between Wang(W) and Anand(B), that went 51 moves and Anand was up 31 minutes, having 51 minutes to Wang's 20, also in the second time phase. Anand keeps the pressure on Bacrot and Carlsen with the win and threatens moving up into second place in the overall standings. Here is the game:

Bacrot and Mags are still going, and as usual, will be posted upon it's completion. Cool
