SCC: Why was Hakobyan (muhkin1) disqualified?

Why was Hakobyan (muhkin1) disqualified from the Speed Chess Championship? He initially finished runner-up to Amish Giri, but at 4 AM, Chess.com released a news article that identified another player as the last ACC qualifier. What happened?

It appears his account on chess.com is closed as well. I wonder if it's because of cheating or artificially increasing his rating by playing against shady very high rated accounts.
