The So/Onischuk game has just finished and after 43.Kd3, a draw was agreed upon between the two players. Here it is:
The last game of Group A is finished between Almasi(W) vs. Perelshteyn(B), who was having time pressure issues during the game.
Group B games are *not* being shown through Fritz 12 and playchess.com, at least I am not seeing them so I have no idea what is going on unless I snag it from the above site posted in the 1st post.

Hi there again everyone! No, it's not Round 9 of Nanjing. Actually, it's the 1st Round of the SPICE Cup from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Now, the SPICE Cup has two groups, Group A and Group B, the latter populated by our own "Pappa Bear" IM Danny Rensch.
Now, Group A is a DRR(Double Round Robin) event with the average FIDE rating of 2631 with 6 players involved. And here is the listing of players:(additional info brought to you by the Susan Polgar blog website)
GM Zoltan Almasi (HUN) 2707 (#1 in Hungary on the current LIVE rating list)
GM Alexander Onischuk (USA) 2688 (#3 in the U.S., former U.S. #1 and Champion)
GM Wesley So (Philippines) 2668 (#1 in the Philippines)
GM Georg Meier (Germany)2659 (#2 in Germany)
GM Ray Robson (USA) 2539 (Youngest American GM)
GM Eugene Perelshteyn (USA) 2528 (winner of 2007 SPICE Cup)
Here is the scoring formula for that same A group:
- No draw offer allowed prior to move 30
- A win = 3 points, a draw = 1 point, and loss = 0 point
One game is already done today as Robson(W)/Meier(B) has been completed after 34 moves. Here is that game:(all games brought to you by Fritz 12 and playchess.com)
The other two games are Almasi(W) vs. Perelshteyn(B) and So(W) vs. Onischuk(B) will be posted upon completion.
