I used to be able to wake up in the middle of the night and get a game from India or Egypt all the time but not anymore. No games from Australian, the Philippines either. This injection of politics into chess is a disgrace. As far as I'm concerned the uptick in violence worldwide is somehow connected to this unusual trend of nations not playing me because I'm an American. It's sick.
