World chess champion, huh? Let’s come back to this thread a little bit later and see how much you improve. I’ll give you two years to become a titled player. Then we can talk about world champ.
I started playing chess at 18. Is it too late for me to become world chess champion?

Also account was opened it 2016. So you started playing chess in 2016. Does that mean you’re 22 now...

Just wondering because this is one of my goals in life. I haven't been taking chess seriously, and I plan to take it very seriously soon.
Becoming the world chess champion requires you to start before age 6, and it needs to be your one goal not one of your goals. In order to be world champion chess has to be your life, and the only thing in your life. Becoming world champion isn’t just “oh *yawn* I’m going to go watch a movie later today and maybe become the world champion...”

How is it too late? I can just learn how to beat Magnus Carlsen.
Carlsen has photographic memory when it comes to a chess board. He has spent 10s of thousands of hours playing. Do you have that talent and time

Yes I’m pretty sure at age five he could memorize the populations and capitals of various countries or something like that

True

Under 1200 rapid, under 1100 blitz, under 1300 bullet. Become the world champion are you having a laugh? 😂 If you even become an intermediate level player you should be delighted.
Here we see the play of an imbecile, not a world champion. Not a GM. Not an IM. Not a FM. Not a strong amateur. Not an intermediate amateur. Just an imbecile.
