Why is @CivilServant not on the list? Wait am I misunderstanding what a chess.com admin means?
We're not really talking about staff and mods here but instead club admins

'Admin' is an ambiguous term. In other words.
And moderators can be admins/superadmins/owners of clubs.
That happens.
And superadmins and owners (very few moderators/staff among them)
are often called 'admins'. Because they're part of 'admin teams'.

The big shot that started this contest is real responsible isn't he ? Eleven days after the voting was supposed to be finished and we still haven't seen anything from him here on the subject.

In fairness - he started this about a year ago right ?
people aren't paid to do this ...
so - my take on it is that he did a service by getting the thing started.
A plus.
In any vote I make - how do I leave out @Nightly-Knight (obvious talent) or @blackfirestorm (Donna) (experience/knowledge and helpfulness and Honesty ... ?? )
(some of the high-profile superadmins on the site are intensely dishonest with their members. The really bad thing is that they continue to get away with dishonesty and favoritism and protection)
Examples of awful superadmin work:
'We can't agree on what is spam' (to favor the very worst spammers in notes of a club)
'Hey - take it easy on this member - he's Half of our activity !'
(A gigantic blunder - not recognizing that if that member became more exposed and run out of the club - new and much better activity would replace him ! - the member's intense lying was blatantly exposed - and so cowardly that he quit on his own)
This list of awful superadmin behaviours is Huge ...
(maybe that's why they're not voted for here - no matter how many 'minions and shills and dupes' they have behind them)
In some cases - is that the main motivation for becoming an admin/superadmin/owner ? Getting to make 'Power Plays' ?
Yes. But then we get:
'Nobody is forced to be in any club' ...
the situation gets worse when the power-hungry people infiltrate into official clubs ... and worse still when they have a 'moderator' backing them up.
