That’s a more detailed board than I’m used to seeing from you Dave. I can imagine, with the deep wood grain, a tumbler of single malt sitting nearby and that may get the creative juices flowing to solve the problems …. And if you have a few to many… you’ve got the numbers and letters to guide the alcohol addled mind! 😊🤦♂️

This is my newest "daily driver" that I use for playing out my (usually lost, hahaha!) positions. It's the 40x40 cm (squares 3x3 cm) design of an etsy seller PrestigeWoodArt. Narek was very responsive and helpful and even customized mine with lower-case notation. I think the board is absolutely beautiful and I loved the rook and knight designs in particular - enough to risk the wrath of She Who Must be Obeyed!
