Yeah, I think the idea of getting better at chess is that I shouldn’t make a move like that bc if you can defend the attack by continuing to centralize your position and develop your pieces, you end using all those tempos/tempi effectively while my pieces are scattered…..

I have a suggestion. What if we make a tournament for the players who are active in this thread. Or some sort of league. Open for all ratings. I am not so familiar with chess tournamnet structure but I guess that Will be solved somehow.

Love those fat rooks in the first match and, well, BCE photos should be illegal in here until the rest of us can readily buy sets. 
More importantly (?) it looks like two good games, too! Very nice photos.

Embarrassingly, I just figured out how to do collage photos on my android (: same game and positions, just different angles. I will admit the black and maple BCE pieces go really well on the cherry board, first time together. The Minceta's however are my go-to. Love those rooks!

Man...took a chance/attempted to play a game. Foolish move- site crashed, and I was given another loss. I must have a low capacity for avoidance learning. But I found A cure! And it's free! It's called Lichess!

Man…. I am in three mind-bending games …. with Stum and Kramesy … I feel ok but somehow think I’m being played … and with felonet, while I am up on pieces, I have left myself exposed and he is about to rip me a new hole! These games are enjoyable but bloody hard yards and I feel I might get roundly whipped in all three!! 🤦♂️

@lotsoblots thank you. Yes my plan failed succesfully 😄 but it was intens as long as it lasted. But after my blunder and your sharp moves. I did not see anyway forward with my position and decided to end the suffering early 🤣 i have looked over the game to learn from my mistakes. All the creds are well deserved. Give Credit where credit is due🙏 i am currently playing on my staunton nr5 board with staunton nr5 wood pieces. King is 92mm. It's an old board now. Tomorrow i will visit a guy who sells different hard wood like mahogny and other types of wood. So I will select some wood for my chess set DIY project. Picture of the wood samples attached
Funny you say that, because I was hoping you WEREN'T going to play Nb4. The fear of that rook fork probably guided most of my moves at that time.
