Antique Pre-ban ivory chess set

I have an antique pre ban ivory chess set. It is very cool and in great shape. I am considering selling it, and I'm not exactly sure how to go about that. I know ebay is an option. Any info on where to sell or this items value would be much appereciated.

They made hundreds, if not thousands of that chess set. I had one many years ago I sold on ebay before the ban got so tight there. They don't sell for anything near a thousand $$...because there's so many of them. Also, most buyers would require a test to be sure it is ivory.

I've got a very RARE ivory set for sale that has been in my family since the 1930's... circa 1880 to 1920's is when it was made... it has grass huts, alligators, warrior with bow, and 8 small warriors in front line. In 1996 it was appraised at around $500-$700. You won't find many if any that are like this one folks... I may put it here in the classifieds... will see.
