Hello everybody !
I'm trying to get back to chess and love to play online, but I miss the physical part of the chess, where you move the pieces actually.

I'm hesitating between 2 chess boards under 200e : DGT Pegasus & Millennium eOne

I saw that the DGT Pegasus had a lot of issues at launch, but what about now ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

I would (as someone who has both), go with the Pegasus.

Not sure about the app (I think they have improved it) because I use the Chesconnect extension, developed by a chess[]com user. There is quite a long thread (still going) in this sub-forum on it.

You may also want to look at the Chessnut line of boards, the Air and the Air+.

If you have any specific questions about any of those boards, I own them all (except the Air+) as well as others. Feel free to ask.

How is the piece recognition now for the pegasus ? I heard that during the early days it was awful

"Piece recognition"?

It does not recognize the actual piece, just that there is something on the square, so technically you could have a N on h1 and a R on g1 and the system thinks it is setup correctly.

I had a few issues with not recognizing a piece/move, but I got in the habit of recalibrating the board before every use (takes about 30 seconds) and it always worked fine.

By the way, because it does not actually use full piece recognition, it is easy to "make" your own pieces. I have two extra sets I modified for the board that also work well.
