Any thoughts on this antique travel set!

Hello-

i just acquired an antique Staunton travel set that I am hoping to learn a bit more about. I can’t find other similar sets online so curious if anyone has any ideas. The set is completely unmarked with 3” kings and a 16” x 16” board. I posted on reddit without any solid leads except someone feeling it could be a Jaques Zukertort, the seller had been told it was an Ayres. Interestingly I contacted Alan Fersht and he kindly and briefly replied. Not Jaques, not Ayres. Maybe BCC?

Anyways if anyone has any other ideas it would be greatly appreciated! Maybe it remains another nice but unknown and that is cool as well!

Thank You,

Justin

Thanks guys/gals! I’m always impressed with how much knowledge collectors harbor regarding their passions.

I’ve been interested in antique chess sets for a long while and just loved everything about this set-so it’s helpful to learn more!
