Ayres set Reproduction

I have good news! Staunton Castle has successfully reproduced the Ayres 4” king chess set.
The craftsmanship and precision are spectacular.
The pieces are triple weighted and are made of ebony and boxwood.
This is one of my main sets that I play with often and my chess friends love it too as it is stardard size and very well balanced and stable on the board.
I have compared Staunton Castle reproduction with my vintage Ayres sets and I must admit it is as good as any 18 of them which were all also made originally in ebony wood. Ayres also made very beautiful chessboards which I really love and they match very well with Staunton Castle reproduction antiqued set.
