I have read a few simple chess books such as Pandolfini's endgame course and the complete chess book of chess strategy along with Bobby Fischer teaches chess. I feel that I am possibly missing fundamentals and struggling outside of these topics such as in midgame and strategical thinking. What would be some good books to help fill in these gaps and help me improve as a chess player? I have researched openings and other small bits on YouTube as well if anyone recommends videos or other resources that could help.
