Chapter 2 from chess strategy in action from John Watson

I started to read John Watson book chess strategy in action i fininshed chapter 2 and i didnt got the point a learned some neet stuff but the idea of the chapter i didnt got

LOL I just order John Watson volume 1 book off amazon. So hopefully I like it then I buy volume 2

I'm trying to find a good books on chess so far I got Bruce Pandolfini,Laszlo Polgar( Grandmater also father of grandmasters of the Polgar women) and Bobby Fischer teaches Chess book. Waiting on Bobby Fischer Book and John Watson. What book you find is more helpful for ya?

IM Prfen is not a fan of pandolfini books

Yeah I wasn't very impress with Bruce Pandolfini as I thought it would be good. Which is why I am trying to find a different books suggestion. What you suggest Hakim2005? I wanna get better of my opening and midgame.
