When I first started playing on Chess.com, I wanted to keep the same rating and not tilt. But unfortunately, nothing like that really ever happens. If you are a beginner and you want to know the pieces and their purposes, here's an amazing article that can really tell you how to play the game.
I, myself, have been struggling to earn points in rating. When you go to "Learn" on the left side of the device you are on, click on "Articles" then go to "For Beginners". It's not easy to become a really good chess player. It takes time. Yesterday, I went to the library and bought a couple chess books, mainly ones focusing on endgames and openings. In the "For Beginners" section in Articles it will bring up some blog posts, primarily focused on:
