I only have Aquarium so I cant draw a comparison, however judging from the ChessOK website here, "http://chessok.com/?p=25993" , the chess assistant 12 Pro comes with the aquarium GUI, aswell as all the other features. So if you dont mind paying extra for the other features then the CA12 is better.
Chess Assistant and Aquarium - what's the difference?

I wanted to buy Aquarium and now I see Chess Assistant 12 has come out. Can someone explain me the difference between them? They seem to be developed by the same company, so I figure they should serve different purposes or something.
