RussBell , thankyou for suggesting "The Winning Way" by Bruce Pandolfini , I own bruce's basics book before and it was an eye opener to me ,will definetely add this book to my Cart. thanks again

Sounds sensible to me, but, as I think you yourself have already realized, some of these attack books are primarily intended for the higher-rated crowd. It seems to be widely believed that nearly anyone can get some benefit from looking at some games. For attack education, I would suggest books with a focus on explaining games for someone with a rating near yours.
