I was thinking about getting Chess Exam and Training Guide. I can only find positive reviews. Is it that good of a book?

I found it helpful. I didn't necessarily give it my 100% best effort, as I did the problems in sets of 10 on the train to and from work, but in the end I think it gave me a fair assessment of my abilities.

I have finished the book and gave it my best effort whilst doing the tests. I have found the results interesting and are now putting together a training plan. I think the book will be useful to players who have been playing for a number of years and wondering where to go next to improve their game.

I like to say it took me a long time to finish the book but it has been really worthwhile in doing so. Well recommended.

My results of the tests can be seen here;
