Chess Gizmos and Gadgets

Let me just start by saying, that I'm a suckers for cool electronic gizmos and gadgets; especially when it comes to chess and chess computers. Playing a computer is definitely not as fun as a playing a human, but some of us are stuck clicking a mouse button or tapping away on a phone or tablet to get a dose of competiton. Much is the same for live chess with another human. I find myself tapping and clicking more than phyiscially maneuvering pieces on a board these days!

I suppose this topic is pretty frivolous, but wouldn't it be pretty cool to have a wifi enabled chess set to allow limited access to this website? I imiagine it to be similar to the ipad in capabilities but integrated into a fully dedicated chess machine.

Maybe it's just me, but when I play chess, I hate being distracted. Get me on a computer or an ipad and there's definitely distractions that pop up - just a nature of the technology i guess!
