Hello, Does anyone in the UK know where to get a dood quality chess set or what to look for. Im a bit overwhelmed at the amount of options but want something I could ideally use for a while. Cheers for any help.

There are several UK online chess retailers that you can find easily with a web search. Official Staunton and Regency Chess seem to be well regarded.

+1 for London Chess and Bridge, especially if you can get there in person and see the sets for yourself. I got a Rechapados Ferrer board from them a few months ago and it was nice to see the options for myself rather than just on a website.
