Chess variants Ploy and Schachfussball

Recently I couldn’t resist and bought this game in a junk shop in Bern, Switzerland. 
Wikipedia has a nice article about it. Basically, it is a space-age strategy game.

The coolest thing about it is the box, who displays somebody’s who would fit perfectly in a Star Trek episode.

This is a Fussball-Schach. It is played with a dice. Don’t ask me to explain the rules, I never played it! I have however the instructions in French and German. 

I wish there was an app here I could try playing it

I think it's possible to play Ploy online using vassal engine, tabletop simulator on steam or with Zillions-of-games. One old chess variant I haven't seen online is Duell originally published by Parker Brothers.
