Chessbase and fritz on mac will not display board along with tutorial

I have installed parallels on my mac, running windows from there and chessbase looks like it installed properly. When trying to run fritz-tutorials, the video runs just fine, but the board does not show in a separate window like I am used to when running the programs on a pc. I suspect it’s some kind of setting I have got wrong, but can’t find out what it is. Anyone have any ideas?
