@vitualis: No, they did not contact me. It would be great if you established a contact. As you can imagine, I would love to work on this! 😍
Chessconnect: a free chrome extension for electronic chessboards

Hi Jörn. I want to begin by thanking you for all your efforts. I really enjoy the app and it's become mu preferred connection method. I feel really greedy asking this, but do you have any plans to add maiachess.com as an option? Though it's still in beta, I like what they offer and would love to be able to use my e-boards there.

@Boydcarts: Maiachess has been requested several times now. I contacted them and and them for a cooperation. Unfortunately, they did not answer. But maybe, I will do it anyway.

Works perfectly fine on my 6th generation iPad Pro and my iPhone 11 along with my Pegasus. I've seen you trolling on another thread. You might want to find yourself something better to do.
Yes his name is Kevin , AKA SpanishStallion a very sad man " who sells 2nd rate chess sets on ebay , then comes on CBE to troll . being doing it for years !

Hi Jorn - A number of Chessnut Pro, Move and Go users have been asking if you have considered integration with Chessable (web browser app). Given the popularity of these courses would be an amazing collaboration. Thanks for your thoughts on this - Regards, Bob. BTW the TapNSet adapter works like a charm, thank you!

I spend quite a bit of time on Chessable. I just wonder as to the value of using an electronic board on there. That is quite a time consuming pursuit, to set up a position to play a few moves. I know there have been masters who say you should always set up a position on a physical board. Even in the days when there were only puzzle books available. I'm sure there must be more value than I can currently see, please share your thoughts. Thanks.

As far as I am concerned, I totally agree with you.
It might be worth the pain for a few very tricky or very important positions where you have to study it thoroughly, but that's not the case with most chessable courses.
Maybe it would be okay with chessnut move or other auto-move board, but that's a niche in the niche of eboards. In fact, it's the only practical use I see for those boards at the moment, because I think they're not really usable for online chess elsewhere. Man-moved eboards are not usable for anything less than 15+0... but auto-move eboards won't work for less than 1h/40moves I think

Chessable most applicable for Chessnut Move, which may dominate the market.
I just wish the pieces didn't have those aluminium rings around the bottoms of them.

Yep. They are ugly indeed, at least in picture. And they move slow and awkwardly; lots of kudos to Chessnut for realizing it, don't take me wrong. It's just that the tecnology isn't there yet, imho
Hey Joern my dear,
is the Genifox/Yihu electronic chessboard supported by Chessconnect extension/app ?
As far as I can see, the side electronics interface board is somewhat similar to the Chessnut Air/Pro board but this one is bigger than the Chessnut Air (field size: 48mm). Have you seen it before ? Do you know if Chessconnect supports it ? Thanks for your time and best.

Yes then don't go to a hospital, You will find a lot of Dutch made MRI scanner or a CT scanner Xray made by philips ? SpanishStallion you are full of S// T .
This seems to be the year of robotic chess boards... I'm very excited that a review unit of the SenseRobot Chess has just been delivered!
Where Chessnut with their Chessnut Move decided with the bold play of making every piece a microrobot matched with their individual piece detection technology (and astoundingly, it works, and works well!), SenseRobot decided to go with a mechanical robot arm and board vision technology.
It looks a like mini-industrial robot arm because it possibly is... I seem to recall (I can't find any documentation now), that the founding engineers came from robotics/manufacturing. The goofy looking robot has a certain 1980s charm that speaks to me (I was a kid in the 80s and this was probably how I imaged a "chess robot" would look like).
Review coming soon!
@joernupbde - have SenseRobot contacted you at all? I haven't started my review process yet, but looking at their website would suggest that their connections with online chess platforms will likely be a bit "underbaked". If they haven't contacted you, I can try to connect you so that Chessconnect could potentially work with another chess robot!
