Does anyone remember this chess software?

Almost retro. ChessMaster 2000 was all of that to me. It had personalities and a real chess improvement plan decades before similar features were made available over the Internet.

I am curios how this Soviet-era dedicated chess computer plays:

Is it aggressive? Positional? Does it offer draws 60% of the time?  

It's 2021 now and this program maintains its charm for almost 30 years! The WChess chess engine is certainly no slouch and will take down most Club-level players.

I have PowerChess 98 running on my Windows 10 Dell laptop. This venerable and much beloved chess program runs only on Windows 95. I have PCEM installed on my laptop, which has Windows 95 as the virtual PC's operating system. Then I load PowerChess 98's ISO file using PCEM. It's an hour to two hours process of installing PCEM and related files to get this ancient beauty up and running on your modern PC. I remember it very well. To me it was a perfect introduction to learning chess systematically. A very entertaining and creative software. I really hope there will be a new version compatible for newer Win versions.
