Don't buy chess sets from Walmart

I guess Walmart will get a few of those returned... :-)

Geez! This reminds me of the movie Elf where the character named Walter Hobbs signed off on a children's book they published which did not include the last page.

I think they are one step ahead of you. It says right on the box "Do not return to the store". 

Somewhere in the fine print it probably says if you aren't satisfied for any reason simply take it back to the factory within 24 hours of purchase for a free replacement. 

Now that I think about it, I wonder if they meant don't take the chess set back to the store, or just don't return to the store at all. It is Walmart.

As long as you're willing to stand in the customer service line for 20 minutes with receipt in hand, they'll take it back. Of course, that's 20 minutes you'll never get back...

LOL! In which universe do people take products to the factory? Should I fly to China?

There's no fine print. I've contacted their customer support, just like it instructs in plain text on the box. You guys crack me up.

Um, I guess I didn't make myself totally clear. I meant take it back to Walmart.

Not clear at all. You didn't specify Walmart, and you included a quoted comment that says "simply take it back to the factory".

"Adult" puzzle sounds interesting.

I think Walmart should change it's motto. Maybe it doesn't even have one, I don't know. But the motto should be  "Walmart, 20 minutes you'll never get back". 

I still think the best advice is what is printed on the box holding the chess set. "Do not return to store".

Maybe they should have said: "Fortunately we no longer manufacture this item." ;-)

If one wanted to study defenses, it might be convenient to have a board labeled from Black's point of view (which this one would be if the file lettering were flipped right-to-left). This just isn't it! 

I thought Spin Master Ltd. was a rapper....
