I seem to remember way back that Drueke did import some French sets for sale here in the U.S.
Drueke chess pieces
Thanks for the info! Any other info like what they're worth would be appreciated. My current job is resale of old furniture and chess pieces are out of my league. I did read that in mid 30s Drueke did import chess pieces from Europe for resale here in the states, but that was about it. Again thanks Jeff

Hello guys, I have this exact same set, which I recently purchased for $100.00.
The pieces appear to be in the french Lardy style and I know that Drueke did business with french wood makers for many of his wooden sets. I was curious if anyone has any idea what this combination of box/chess men is actually worth nowadays?
I purchased an old set of Drueke chess pieces at auction. The walnut box they are in has a Drueke sticker on it but also says chessmen made in France on the bottom of the box. There are 2 walnut trays in the box holding the chess pieces which look to be wooden and in very good condition. The king is 3.25 inches. Any other info would be appreciated about this set.
