"Best Lessons of a Chess Coach" Sunil Weeramantry. This is a collection of games, and the author asks questions of the reader as it goes along. It's a very enjoyable read, and very well written.

"FCO" (fundamental chess openings) is a very easy read that even newcomers to the game could enjoy. However if you wan't to improve your general opening knowledge and maybe pick up on some new opening weapons this book may actually be quite useful. Other books that i think would probably be very useful for reaching 2000 level in rapid are "FCE" (fundamental chess endgames), or if you want to focus on one specific endgame there is "secrets of pawn endings" (even at 1600 i doubt your pawn endings are perfect yet, i know mine still need work) and "understanding rook endgames"

@LimitlessWarrior - "Soviet Chess Primer" is unlikely to be too elementary for you. It quickly gets more challenging. Keep studying it and you will find out what I mean. I comment on it in the blog article.
Guys, I need help:
I've been reading the book called 'Soviet Chess Primer' as one youtuber suggested me, but realized I was over that level already as it was teaching everything generally from how the pieces move to how to use tactics. I already know these things as my classical rating should be around 1600-1700. I also tried to read Modern Chess Openings book and I might continue that, but I really don't know which book I should use to become better in the opening and have great tactics. I don't care about blitz chess. My goal is to get 2000 in the rapid. Can anyone suggest me a great chess book and why do you think that book is great, please ? Thanks !
