Fritz 16's New Game isn't letting me play with computer.

Using Komodo12 + Fritz 16 interface. It's not working like it was earlier anymore. It's the "New Game" button on the Home tab of the interface. It's not working like it used to. It used to allow me to play with the engine I'm running immediately. Now it doesn't even activate the sound set of the engine, things like the program saying "Let the party begin!", nor does the software play with me. I play with myself.
What could have made it stop working normally?!
Help!
