Good Psychology / Willpower Books?

Hi,

Looking for any good book recommendations that could help with the mental side of the game.

(The book doesn't strictly have to be a "chess psychology" book, but anything that has helped them take their game to the next level.)

Obviously there are numerous things to think about, which is why I'm not limiting the replies to chess-only books:

Training / Setting up routines

At the Board / Mental Endurance/Strength / Concentration

Esteem issues (positive and negative)

Or any Sports/Business books that have been so good they can be applied to chess. (Kasparov's "How Life Imitates Chess" need not apply here!)

Looking forward to the responses!

Wetzell's Chess Master... at Any Age is one I'd recommend. Another suggestion is to check out Dan Heisman's columns.

Hi, and thanks.

I've had a look for the Wetzell book and it's a tad pricey, I wonder if it's about to be republished or something? I am a fan of Dan's columns, and enjoy his take on the psychology of chess, and preparation before playing.
