Then why did you walk up the stairs if there was a missing step?
The OP abandoned this site one day after signing on , that was 15 months ago and she never played a single game here , let this thread die.

Oh, great, so nobody will complain if Glorax and I sidetrack this thread.

Do it baby!!

Sorry to see the OP never did play any games here and evidently wasn't serious about learning chess.
What after you know 'BASIC' checkmate with queen?
Many said chess should be learnt from end to middle, and opening is after you're quite good, but i know i learnt quite a lot opening, to build a repertoire to know what to play. My live standard rating is around 1500 and I can still lose to rating quite lower than me in blitz (10min or so).
I analysis my own games with Deep Fritz and usually I'll get some advantages in opening and then suddenly, middle game or going to middle game, almost always there'll be a blunder that makes me lose the game. Fritz shows it with '??'. Is like I can't avoid a game without blunder lol. I might analysis my latest games to see how I'm doing and improve?
So I got a small tournament this Sat, any 'advice' or tips? Like easily win someone who don't develop quickly etc and avoid Blunders.
