There is  no hard and fast rule. I tend not to so as to preserve that dimension of pieces' historical authenticity, but I have refinished pieces and actually am considering refinishing these. What do you think?

My first thought was that they would be gorgeous refinished. Then I felt guilty as they have the right to wear their patina and scars. happy.png I don't suppose there is one right answer.
