Is chessable worth $7?

Isn't that the primary complaint of chess students with opening books: books become obsolete and you have to buy a whole new book to make up for the difference. With chessable, the content is simply updated with no additional cost.

Exactly! I didn't realize the extent of it until I came back to 50 new lines in one of my books. Crazy good feature. Not to mention most of the authors are active on the site and you can ask questions on each individual line. Even if the author doesn't respond to the question, somebody else probably will.

Unless your an elite, world class player.  Opening books are good for life.

One thing is for sure: the active denizens of chessable.com are quite competitive with their course achievements.
