You know what my other books are, so I won't post them.

Nice one is it based on openings?

Esp-19. Yes, I bought many copies.  The combinations in the back are amazing as well as the endgame positions.

Yeah I noticed that, it's very useful indeed.

It's my first informators ever, can you tell me more about it please.

I've heard somewhere, that now people don't need them anymore because they have computers(databases etc.) , what are they for ?  For openings mostly or?

I see no reason why anyone with working internet would want to spend money on Informants.

They do so many things.  Although I do not have the latest volume, One does not need it because each book has a lot to teach.  The way I use it, besides what I already mentioned, is for learning how masters evaluate positions.  Slight advantage, Clear advantage, Decisive advantage---these labels are explained by example.  It has taught me how to evaluate positions better. You can get the same thing on a disk, but with a book I do not need to be online or on a computer.  As a bonus, I can buy older volumes at low cost and still learn.  These are the best games played around the world in a six month period analzyed by the winners and the best players in the world. Finally, the book is written for many languages. The only book I know that is truly international.
