Hi all -

I'm considering either buying a big lawn chess set and hosting my chess clubs events. Also considering building my own lawn chess set too!

Anybody with experience with either? Comments or Concerns?

Any input appreciated.

I have found that these lawn sets are a lot of work to make, like look at them?! It will be cheaper and less time consuming to just buy a set on amazon.

I think you're right, Ranger.

Recently, my chess club asked me whether it was possible to sew the chess board for a lawn set, and I told them "possible - yes. But it won't be cheaper than ordering one off amazon"
