Looking for trouble is a defensive tactics book IE looking for threats against you and meeting them properly. It's different than your standard type of tactics book, but feels a huge need in tactics training as most people are better at seeing tactics they can employ vs seeing what their opponent is threatening.

What are your favorite/recommended tactics books for novice players (1200-1500)? Would you recommend Dan Heisman's "Looking for Trouble"?
I enjoyed Heisman's "Back to Basics: Tactics". Thought another of his books might be beneficial.
I use tactics trainer, tactics time and chesstempo periodically, but I would rather work through puzzles from an actual book with paper pages. I get enough screen time elsewhere...
